B1 Receiving

Some Metal Gear Solid fan art that I wanted to take the layout of and re-imagine certain elements of it to match what I feel is a look of a shipment receiving area carved from an existing cave system. When doing the assets my aim was to make the space work for a over the shoulder camera like in MGS:V as opposed to the top down camera in the original.

The assets are a mix of uniquely baked and tiling textures with trim sheets and decals. The concrete walls and floor for example were all unique baked assets as I couldn't find a good way of achieving the transition from clean concrete to the rough, broken edges that would hold up when viewed at the distance a player could get. Meanwhile the oil tank and shipping containers were tiling textures, trim sheets, and mesh decals for the signage.
