Steam Carbine

I'm not much of a weapons artist but when the concept came up on the Polycount challenge I decided to give it a go! I'm happy with how it turned out overall though there are a couple places that I feel could have been improved upon. In particular I felt I worked some of the materials to the point they ended up feeling softer than they should have rather than letting more contrasting details stand out but it's something to keep in mind for the future.

Done for the Polycount Bi-Monthly Environment Art Challenge #70. This month in particular has some great concepts people could choose from and plenty of people creating some great stuff over there, definitely recommend checking it out!
